Flap Happy was founded by designer Laurie Lipson Snyder, a Malibu native and mother of four. Laurie started the business with an idea for a hat that would protect her children's faces and necks from the sun after she was diagnosed with skin cancer.
Flap Happy products use materials from recycled plastic bottles, Eco-friendly quick-dry fabrics, which are breathable, and offer UPF 50+ sun protection.
